BDStar Going Globe- BDStar Attended China-Saudi Arabia BeiDou/GNSS Forum

BeiDou/GNSS Forum was successfully held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during April 18 and 19, 2017, co-hosted by China Satellite Navigation Office and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Hundreds of Saudi Arabian delegates from Ministry of Science and Technology, Traffic, Surveying and Mapping, Interior, and Civilian Aviation, and 40 Chinese delegates from 22 organizations (including BDStar) attended the forum, together with Embassy of the PRC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Cyberspace Administration of China, and National Administration for Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation.

BDStar exhibited its basic products such as Beidou-based chips, modules, PCB and antennas, as well as mature solutions for ports and emergency alerts, and had in-depth discussions with Saudi Arabian trade users and company representatives, who returned warm responses.

This forum is an important step in fulfilling President Xi’s proposal of ‘establishing BeiDou System in Arab States’, stated at the 6th Ministerial Meeting of China-Arab States Cooperation Forum in 2014. It is of vital importance for reinforcing China-Saudi Arab cooperation, improving the two states’ joint work in satellite navigation, and steadily taking BeiDou system abroad.
