BDStar Released China’s First 28nm GNSS Smallest Chip
China’s first 28nm GNSS smallest chip- Ufirebird was released by Unicorecomm, a subsidiary of BDStar, at the 8th Satellite Navigation Conference held in Shanghai on May 23. It marks that China’s BeiDou multimode chip industry has entered a 28nm era. This world-leading chip, as one of the highlights at the conference, has groundbreaking low power consumption and a size as small as a pen tip (1.9mm x 2.9 mm).
Moreover, this chip has received great interest from the IoT industry since its debut. At the launch venue, OFO and BDStar signed a strategic cooperation agreement which will facilitate the application of BeiDou in bicycle sharing and other everyday scenarios.
