BDStar Launched TruePoint--a Global High-precision Data Service Platform

Nanchang, Jiangxi, May 26, 2021 - The 12th China Satellite Navigation Conference kicked off. On Day One, BDStar rolled out the“TruePoint--a Global High-precision Data Service Platform”.

At the launch ceremony, BDStar’s Chairman Zhou Ruxin unveiled the TruePoint platform together with many famous experts in the industry.

Leveraging BDStar’s fundamentals and advantages in independent high-precision positioning chip algorithms, GNSS-assisted services and high-precision services among other fields gathered in years and resources around the globe, the platform is a high-precision data service platform featuring globalization, all-scenario coverage and high reliability and upholding open and win-win eco-partnership.

Nowadays UAV, smart agriculture, robotics, intelligent driving, and intelligent wearing devices are transforming people’s modes of production and lifestyles. In the ever-growing intelligent era, all types of intelligent application scenarios set higher requirements on positioning, particularly high-precision positioning. Apart from positioning chips, compatible data service capabilities are also needed.

Under the “Cloud+IC” business model, users are entitled to ICP-level high-quality services at any place worldwide and interconnectivity of everything with precision is attainable via enabled intelligent applications. The launch of the “Global High-precision Data Service Platform TruePoint” marks the implementation of the “Cloud+IC” strategy and empowerment of BDS products equipped with self-developed chips+spatiotemporal services for securing high-precision positioning worldwide. Besides, TruePoint with global vision will take BDS one step further to its goals of “going global” and “going farther”. And as an open high-precision positioning data ecosystem is built, an“integrated network around the world” will take shape, unlocking infinite possibilities for high-positioning BDS products used in more innovative application scenarios with broader coverage and at higher level.

In 2020, Beidou-3 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-3) was launched, symbolizing BDS advancement to a new era of global services.
